Paper napkins are now named after people (creatures? take that word loosely)! There is Niels and Inger having a good time doing a Christmas thing. And the picture of Kevin (the penguin), looks like a mug shot to me.
If you have a penguin thing going, you may want Kevin too.
All the regular Christmas cake/treat things are here:
– Mincemeat Tarts;
– Christmas Cake;
– Jamaican Rum Cake;
– Marzipan Stollen; and
– Original and Festive Gingerbread Cake.
We sampled out the Marzipan Stollen, and I can picture myself munching on it on Boxing Day, in my pjs, under a quilt and watching sappy movies. All my indulgences.
Sometimes it is just not worth the effort to make your Christmas favourites, especially if you are the only one eating it. Can you really eat 24 mincemeat tarts? Don’t answer that, you may incriminate the innocent!
So sometimes it is just worth it to buy a little bit and enjoy. The treats we have, are all staff tested and heartily approved. When I ask the staff what we should sample, there is always a boisterous debate and checking of the calendar to make sure they are working when their favourite is sampled. I sometimes wonder if the customers get their share of the samples!
See you at Scoop N’ Weigh, the Candy Store for Grownups!
P.S. Last time I told you about the different flavoured honey and now we have a new one, Gingerbread. This is a cute little jar that would make a great stocking stuffer.
P.P.S. When did these Christmas Puzzles sneak in? They are not the usual Santa Claus or cheery winter scene.
P.P.P.S. We have packages of Mulling Spices in a little cotton bag, ready to be used.P.P.P.P.S. If you are a marzipan lover, besides the Marzipan Stollen, we have Marzipan Sticks smothered in chocolate in milk, bittersweet, walnut, and cherry flavours.
The flavour we get the most requests for and the one we sell out of first is cherry, so I ordered extra.
P.P.P.P.P.S. And don’t forget Marzipan Pigs.
P.P.P.P.P.P.S. Finally we received a shipment of BBQ brushes.
